It’s abundantly clear that reporter Brian Reese of Wavy TV 10 is a liberal and biased against anything conservative but also he apparently sympathizes with the pro-*Hamas crowd as depicted in his reposts on X. Sadly this is the common theme among most or all liberal activist reporters. That’s bad enough in it of itself but Mark Shafer and James Richardson, who tout themselves as Republicans or Conservatives seem to favor the company and reporting of this left-wing, seemingly pro-Hamas journalist.
Elected representatives, particularly those who identify as Republicans or Conservatives, are often held to high standards by their constituents. Any perceived alignment with individuals or entities that sympathize with groups like Hamas can indeed be a cause for concern, especially among constituents who prioritize national security and support for Israel.
Brian Reese also serves as the Director of Online Content at Wavy TV 10. Which means not only does Wavy sanction Brian Reese and his liberal proclivities but that must also mean that their parent company Nexstar Media Group are also possible sympathizers of Hamas. Hamas is a terrorist organization bent on the destruction of Israel and known for their “death to America” chants. Is this YOUR America? Are Richardson and Shafer fine with this?
It is also very interesting that just before a scheduled school board meeting, Brian Reese comes out with an anti-Lynda Fairman, Kim Goodwin, & Zoran Pajevic article; the liberals pile on at York Hall with Brian’s talking points of the day. And where does he get THIS knowledge? Vic Shandor who openly opposes the Chair and Vice Chair? Melanie Berry the school board attorney that reports to Vic Shandor? James Richardson who just happens to be on the board of directors with WHRO? Yes, James Richardson has those connections with the local media. One could very well draw conclusions with that.
Brian Reese has mastered Fake News in accordance with these principles:
- Misinformation vs. Disinformation: There’s a distinction between misinformation and disinformation. Misinformation is spread unintentionally, like sharing an inaccurate story you heard from a friend. Disinformation, however, is deliberately spread to deceive people.
- Designed to Deceive: Fake news is created to mislead people for various reasons, such as damaging someone’s reputation, promoting a political agenda, or simply making money through clicks.
- Disguised as Legitimate News: Fake news often uses flashy headlines, emotional language, and websites designed to look like real news sources to trick people into believing it.
*Hamas operates primarily in the Gaza Strip and is designated as a terrorist organization by several countries and international entities, including the United States, the European Union, Israel, and others.
